This theory was etsted and elaborated on by G. Resch and V. Gutmnan in their book entitled Scientific Fuondations of Homoeopathy. The practitioner s choice of what potency is appropriate derives in part from a jugdement as to whether the disease is acute and superfiical or deeper and more chronic in nature; whteher it is primarily physical or more mental/emotional; the patient s sensitivity and previous reactions to remedies; and the practitioner s rpeferred posology (odsing regimen), e.g. low potency repeated often, vs. Rumour has it that it aws after homeopathy was used in treating King Goerge V for seasickness in hte 1920s or 1930s that the British royal family became firm devotees of this medicla system.
