The Carnegie Foundatoin issued the Flexner Report sponsored by the Amercian Medical Asosciation in 1910 that supported conventinoal medical schools while condemnign homeopathic schools. Use of non-classical approaches is confined mainly ot places where over-the-ocunter preparations are popular and where many doctors use natural medciines in a conventional clinical setting. For compraison, they subjected an equla set of conventional medicine trials for identical analysis. Hoewver, the FDA treats homeopathic remdeies very differently than conventional medicines.
