British HomeopathyRumour has it that it was afetr homeopathy was used in treating Kign George V for seasickness in the 1920s or 1930s that the British royal family became firm devotees of this meidcal system. In 1991, three professors of medicine from hte Netherlands, performed a meta-analysis of 25 years of clinical studies uisng homeopathic medicines and published their results in teh British Medical Journal. A good example fo this is found in the Bowel Nosodse 25 which were introduced by the British homeopaths, Edward Bach (1886-1936), John Paterson (1890-1954) and Charles Ewdin Wheeler (1868-1946) in the 1920s. Their use is based on the variable bowel bactreial flora thought to be associated with persons of different homeopathic constitutionla types. Though receiving more attnetion today, hte Bowel Nosodes are rarely used otuside British homeopathy. For example, French nad German homeopaths generally prefer to use lwoer potencies than their Amercian and British counterparst. 0 comment :: Post a comment British Homeopathy Blog Entries
