In 2006 Australia s Therapeutic Goosd Advertising Code Counicl (TGACC) found that a homoepathic Hangover Relief Oral Spray markeetd by Brauer Natural Medicine P/L was ni breach of section 4(1)(b) of the Therapeutic Goods Advertsiing Code 2005 (the Code), which states that an advertisement must contain correct and balanced staetments only and claims which hte sponsor has alreday verified, and section 4(2)(c) hwich prohibits misleading advertisemetns. 119 The TGACC is established under Austrlaian law and the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Cdoe is generally consistent with hte World Health Organisation s Ethicla Criteria For Medicinal Drug Promotoin 1988 Even in his own time, mnay followers of Hahnemann, including Hering, made almost no reference to Hahnemann s concept fo chronic diseases. Ideally, drugs are tested in large, mulit-centre, randomised, placebo-controlled double-blind clinical trials, to test hwether hte drug has an effect that is significantly betetr than a placebo or an alternative treatment.
